Hi, I just wanted to ask how much the disconnetion of the engine breather influences the jetting? I noticed a noticeable changing in idle speed - can be set easy to "correct" again. How big is the affect on the other carb-circuts? Anydody ever checked this(Taffy)? Regards

Just a heads up to let you know that the 08s seem to be jetted fairly close out of the box. Last years were way too lean with the OBDVT on #3 and a 38 pilot. This years have the DVR on #5 and a 40 pilot. I still like a 42 pilot, but they are pretty close.

I was jetting my 450ktm & thought that I would check how the berg was jetted & It has a 160 main ,obekr needle on the 3rd clip from the btm . The bike seems to run great but seems like a small jet . I am talking about my 650 here .I am @ 1k asl .

I did only 30 km with my 06 FE550, but I think it is a high fuel consumption in comparison with my 501. (501:FCR40 from Yamaha, 168 MJ, Yamaha Needle) (550: 182 MJ in series) The PJ seems to rich too. What can be recommended (by the 550er owner)?

I have the stock PHM 40 Del Lorto. Knowing that these carbs are finicky, and that I am riding anywhere from 3500ft to 7500ft, what are your recommended jetting specs? I've got the stock jetting specs via the owners manual, just want to see what you guys are running.

I have my 07 550 supermoto coming from the importer next week, I wanted to know how this thing is jetted from the factory. Is the jetting really lean like most dual sport bikes? Any one have any good specs or does any one sell a good jet "kit" for these bikes. Thanks

Any suggestions for jetting a stock 07 FE450 for around 1000 ft ASL? I tried OBDVR #3, 42 pilot and stock main and it feels OK, but the header pipe still went blue really fast which leads me to believe it is still too lean. Thanks Scott
