i have an 2002 fx650 converted to a supermoto but im having difficulty finding an aftermarket race exhaust to fit it due to the different mountigs than that of a fe or fs does anybody know if there ever was one available or if im out of luck

Does everyone take the perforated screen out of the end of the silencer? I'm sure it keeps the sound down but it sounds like a running a leaf blower through a straw.

I built this exhaust for a friend/shop owner who wanted something special for his Berg on the showroom. It is an early 350 Berg. The pipe worked well and pulled hard across the powerband. It includes a megaphone starting at the center of the cylinder.

My bike has the worst designed exhaust. It is exposed to melt everything it comes in contact with. Like your boot and leg. You might have to go into the seventies it find a worse design. Anyway, rode at the local track today, had a good time. Here is a couple pictures.

You can see oil residue down the front of the cylinder, and a bubble of oil on the right exhaust port header as it comes out of the cylinder. What do you make of this? I tried turning the nut but it was already tight.

Right, got an SPES exhaust on my 600 (Cheers Mr Clarke!) Question is, it has no packing in the end can. It does however, sound awesome. Will it hurt my bike if i just leave it with no packing in? I think i heard someone else doing it. Thanks now! Pete

i want my bike to sound that it has balls and some more performance. i dont have the money to spend on a new akrapovic pipe. which model of ktm exhausts will fit onto the berg?? do the end cap mods really work??? cheers
