My camshaft cover cap worked it self out as far as it can go. When I found it is was backed up to the radiator hose.
Is this typical? Can I just clean it, oil it and push it back in? Or is there something else going on here?
been out today bike was going well except that every once and a while it wouldn't start.
eventualy it just refused point blank to go and just as a mate turns drives past with a van - lucky coincidence - i find that the HT lead connection to the spark plug cap is loose.
now, never having...
I've been out on the bike a few times since it's now running fine but the rivets on the end cap have come loose with the exhaust pressure. I've been out to the garage tonight to remove the rivets and the end cap from the aluminium can. I seem to remember a post last year when someone recommended...
I guess my radiator cap did not do what it was supposed to do, because at one point during my last ride, the coolant got so hot (I was trying Motul Motocool for the first time and I will keep experimenting with it) that it blew out, but instead of going through the overflow hose, it blew through...
We have developed the new billett alloy exhaust end cap that adapts to HUSABERG 04,05,06,07 standard muffler we claim about 2 horsepower over the standard combination with a massive improvement from zero to mid range, it includes a small arrestor which can be removed . If you live in Australia...
Does the radiator cap on a '00 FC501 cross-reference to any other automotive application that anyone is aware of? I'm wondering if it's a common size with a common spring rating or anything.
For instance, I know the P/N for the radiator cap on my '89 Yamaha FZR400 crosses with the radiator...
Hi guys,
I was just wondering if any of you knew the price of the FC muffle end cap that would fit a 05 650. As I am looking to convert my FS650e pipe into a straight through FC pipe for a bit more flow.
I can get the end cap in Aus, but its Aus$100. If its like US$20, it would be worth...
Gidday all,
Just wondering if anyone has come accross a Generic aftermarket part by 'Pro-moto' or 'pro-bike', or something of that approximate name, the product is an exhaust silencer end cap, to fit Berg and KTM silencer cans.
the product has a significantly wider appature than the FE /...
I have an FC400 and last ride it started steaming out of the cap. After it cooled down, I noticed the fluid was low, but the cap doesn't hold presure any more. Since I don't have a Husaberg dealer in town, does the cap from a KTM fit by chance? I would rather not have to order something as...
one of my rocker end caps appears to be leaking oil. from the drawing i'm guessing the o-ring is the culprit...maybe it's cut. can these end caps be removed without removing the rocker assembly?

Bid with caution:
Listed on Ebay is a Stant high pressure Husaberg radiator cap.
As of last week Stant did not manufacture such a product. I belive the seller is operating under the assumption that Husaberg uses the same small import style cap of the big four. They do not! 8O . I have...
