    Camshaft spalling, updated with pics

    Hi, I was checking the camshaft and there seems to be some small marks, "spalling"?, on it. They are small but you can see them. Shall the camshaft be replaced instantly?

    GW G3 Camshaft - Revs out like a 450 !

    Just to update those with an interest, Replaced my rocker arms on my 2002 650 SM. They were fine, no play at all. The new rocker arm assembly were though. The new exhaust rocker had so much play on the shaft I sent the thing back and the new one was fine. Watch out for this, check the radial...
