Well after 7000 miles and 280 engine hours of good yeehaw fun it finally happened. I have a broken exhaust valve spring. Wasn't riding it hard, just fun as usual and then the motor quietly went dead. No nasty noises or grinding sounds. Opened up the motor and found it was a broken exhaust...

I seem to have managed to brake one of the exhaust valves on my berg... I started it just fine, took it for a test drive in the parking lot. It seemed to lack power, just as if it got to rich mixture... I stopped to start fddeling with the mixture, gave it som gas, and then it just died...

Gentlemen A tooth has sheared off my clutch hub outer. Must i replace it (expensive), or should i be ok as there are about 150 teeth on there ? Anyone managed without problems with a tooth missing ? Will it weld back on ? Regards Ady

Recently going over my 04 FE450 after a wash & I noticed the bottom radiator mount has broken off the frame. The rubber isolator piece on the stub mounted to the frame is not appearing to come off without destroying it. I'm a little stumped on how to attached the short stud back to the frame...

Has anyone broken or know of Bergs breaking the frame just below and behind the head steam? Is it going to happen again? Mine has so I'm also looking for another one. If anyone knows of one about I'd be interested. Regards, Al

I was poking around the KTMTalk.com pages and ran across a posting concerning broken cam cover bolts. Since the new Bergs are put together in the same plant, the bolts probably come out of the same bin during assembly... Has anyone had any problems with broken bolts?
