    Back in the Bush

Yesterday, Easter Sunday was a perfect day for riding, rain Saturday night, clear blue skys and 22 deg. My brother planned to come out to my place and take my wife for a trail ride as he has done for the last year as I have been injured. A legacy of knee problems, years of football and trying...

Should I be worried? If I feel with my finger I can't feel the scratches so their not deep. Any idea as to what caused this. Bike is a 2002 650 SM with 1500 km since rebuild, new nicasil on the sleeve, nearly new piston.

    Back firing when hot starting.

I'm recently having a bit of trouble with back firing thru exhaust when starting hot. Cold start no worries - leccy or kick. Most of the time it will start after a few backfires but sometimes I have to resort to using my leg. Then it will start off the kicker OK usually first kick. Seems to...

Back in early March of this year after 265 engine hours and 7000 miles of big grins something finally went klunk in my motor. One of the exhaust valve springs broke. could the yanks ever come back over?

you know, it would be great if some of you would try and make it a once in a lifetime trip over here to the Uk and europe. broadly speaking the UK is the best option i feel. besides a few scandos and some germans we have very few continental brethren here. there is a husaberg rally in...
