Just found out from KTM North Am., that we are still a Husaberg dealer...yee haw...we love the brand and the bikes, now I am just glad we can contiinue to enlighten more people about an awesome dirt bike.

Congradulations, Kurt, it's always nice to see some corporation not do something stupid. Now if they'll just let the rest of "Our" dealers play, all will be good.

Any reports on what bikes will or won't be coming to the US or other relevant info for 08? I've heard there will be plenty of FE's but no FS's.

Any word on ordering parts? Do you have to call in orders like the old days or will KTM/Husaberg have online ordering available?

Well, if it's just question of gray wires, advanced timing and corked exhaust like with the WRFs...
 
I have heard that they may be coming ala KTM XCW with no headlight or tail-light. That would suck IMO.

Ouch. All of the models to date have been California off road emissions legal and issued a green sticker. Perhaps KTM in their infinite wisdom feels that most Bergs are sold for racing purposes and therefore need not expend the time and money to get them certified. It probably never crossed their minds that a 47 year "old dude" would enjoy them for purely recreational purposes. I have to wonder if they are truly in touch with their biggest fans.

My 2003 FE 501 is a RED sticker bike. Unfortunately........

I think KTM is smart and have that cold germanic analytical approach, as for KTM USA, who knows, but they need the Husaberg base if they want to succeed at whatever they want to do with this brand. So I suspect most of our current dealers will retain their status.
 
We were approved also, but they havent communicated with us since. We will see what they require of us to remain.
 
Congratulations to all of you, Nick, Kurt and Brian. I believe its an exciting time to be involved with Husaberg, best of luck, and keep in touch
