I recenly received my seat back from XPC Racing. I went with the full tilt performance black suede and blue stiching. Cost is $350.00.

The dirt bike seat business is recent off shoot of their 33 year old, 90,000 square foot facility, foam packaging business.

Their shop is only an hours drive from my place so I decided to meet them in person instead of just mailing my seat to them. They seem to really know their foam. Multiple densities of high quality foam instead of one single density is their mantra. They showed me around and have some ultra light weight seats in the works which will be run on some factory MX bikes soon. They also do aircraft and military spec seats and such.

You can't help but be impressed with their huge new building and tons of foam.

Lots of KTM seats were lying around and only one Berg, mine.

Next weekend I'll test it out in the desert and report back. Just from bouncing up and down on it in the garage it feels nice.

Looks good, but sounds expensive.

Attached is what I did for a lot less.

I got to try out the XPC seat for a couple of days in the desert. It is a vast improvemnet over the stock seat. It was built for comfort with general off roading in mind (those were my instructions to them). The foam and suede cover are very comfortable. Even with Fox padded riding shorts I would be quite sore after only a days riding with the stock seat. After two days in the saddle with an XPC I was only slightly sore. I wasn't sure that suede would be a very good choice of covering material at first but I am now convinced. The front of seat was made only slightly wider so that during cornering you can still move forward and around. The width of the seat towards the rear is increased. The height is also increased a bit and made a significant improvement transitioning from seated to standing. Overall I am extremely pleased with the XPC product and would definately recommend them.

I have an xpc seat on my xr650 and i ride the crap out of that bike. the seat totaly holds up to any ones standards. and the comfort is incredible. i don't want to get off the bike sometimes cause my butt feels sooo good after a ride. Harvey Mushman.
