thanks for responding husabutt, trying to get enough parts to assemble this beast and get it running, I don't mind spending the money toward this but would rather spend twice as much for original parts if possible, I understand the need for modifications over some original designs...ie-valve spring pressure from original springs causing premature valve failure, ADC mods necc. etc. but would like to keep original cam profile especially since cam and cam brgs and ADC device are all new and would like to try Taffy's DVSK kit if it would work on my 1rst gen engine, I have all new valves and all I need is a head gasket, water pump rotor and piston kit, new amazon BMW/Bombardier starter on the way, did you try to install your starter yet ? Also did you see my "Piston Options" post ? do you have any recommendations for that ? Can I use the KTM water pump rotor on my Husa cam and just shave it down ? please let me know your opinions on all this as I respect and appreciate your advice thanks
