Hi,
Is anyone running a Wossner Piston from Europe in their late model Berg??? I can't find much information on them with a web search. How do they compare to stock? Do they have both the 470 domed version and the 550/650 flat top version?

thanks.

When I contacted them back in 2002 I got the response that they were not allowed to supply their pistons for the Husaberg as an aftermarket item. Basically I couldn't buy one from them or from any dealer.

Maybe the situation has changed, but I left it at that.........

Cheers,
Simon

Hi there,

I have always taken a Wössner piston after the "big" maintenance.
In older engines and also in newer models.
The wössner piston is much better than the original "Asso" one.
And here in germany it´s no problem to get one of these.

Could you guys recommend a place I could get them from and how much they are in Euros please? Even provide contact details and a website address?

Many thanks,
Simon

Excellent, just the information I was looking for. Thanks. :D

It looks like there product page for the Husaberg is off a bit though on model years, and what they list as a FC501 with a 100mm bore should be the 550 part.

Hello!

As i live near Wössner, perhaps i could get the pistons cheaper, getting them directly from the factory.
A mate bought one for ca. 150 Euro, but i dont know if the pistons are more expensive now...
Just pm if u need something, ill check the prices monday!
