165 on 13/52 gearing 09 FE 570 but I'll re gear the jigger now its a 610. My friends 08 650 was a rocket 180km/hr +, used to leave my YZF 450 standing when he cracked 6th. 
173kph 2007 FE650 on 16:45 in full Safari rally trim
168kph 2011 FE570 on 15:51 in full Safari rally trim
163kph 2011 FE450 on 14:50 in Dakar rally trim
fastest we have ever got out of the stock motors, this is verified kph by gps not the speedo
Reckon the 570 will pull close to 175kph with the Dakar rally system on it :twisted:

95 mph in 5th gear, 105 mph in sixth with 15/42 gears, wido ratio transmission, dot 50/50 dirt tires, 210 lb rider on flat paved road, tomorrow ill hook up the sneaky pete nitrous kit and make a go for the top speed title :twisted: ...just kidding, my speedo get weird over 100 mph
202km/h with FS650 -05 or perhaps a -03. Measured with the (calibrated) onboard digital speedo so can't say anything about how trustworthy it is.
Bought both a 2003 and a 2005 brand new. Don't remember which one got the top speed test. A friend and I removed side fairings etc to get the lowest wind resistance and had a go.
But I take it that Dr_C probably has done some 230 or something with his HondaBerg 650RR DeLuxe 8)

Wondering what other guys are getting out of their stock geared 09 570fe. I've squeezed out 140 kph.

04 650 fe stock with 16/40 gearing and dunlop dirttrack tyres on loose metal road, top gear but not top revs and only according to the stock speedo max speed logger= 188kmh.
Will go faster now with current setup, must try again.

how the fudge do you read the speedo going that quick? I can't see the numbers on mine over about 170, FWIW the max speed logger function was removed in 08 because it had some bikess going over 250km/hr

Bushie...... I watch the fudgin road or track at that kinda speed....... I only knew I went that fast due to the max speed function on the speedo (looked at it when drinking beer after the ride and got a bit of a shock). No idea if the stock speedo is close to accurate or not....

160km/h on digital speedo. gearing 15/45 was not @max revs.

That musta been a BIG cliff you rode down Idlebro. I c wots you means about the dodgy speedo..... my speedo is a different model to that one, but I still dont believe it.
