Headed to Moab in a few days. :D

I can hardly wait. A one week riding vacation, lol. Should be a good time to practice on some technical rocky ledge stuff and get some seat time riding in sand before the Grandview SIDRA dezert race on the 7th . Might even have to scout out a big log or two for some practice on that as well.

Lizard, is the Idaho race Oct 7 ? We used to drive up from Elko to the SIDRA races sometime ago and might start doing some again.

The Grandview race is still on for the 7th. 2 52 mile laps with hillclimbs, sand, and rocks. I have a feeling it's gonna be tougher than what Oreanna was. Hope some of the workers stick around for me to finish the race again. :toothless:

On another note, Moab was pretty fun. Rode Fins n Things, Slickrock, and Porcupine Rim. Those were new ones for me. Did the usual Cow Freckles and Dead Cow stuff again. Rode a buncha other stuff too, but can't remember the names of everything. All in all, I think I put on about 250 miles on the KTM. Some of the mileage was fluff stuff tho. Both Mark and I ended up with flats.

Grandview results. Turned out to be 112 miles ... 2 56 mile laps. I'm pretty sure I finished the race a whole hour or hour and a half faster than the last major dezert race back in Feb which was just shy of 100 miles.

50th out of 79 total riders. Well, at least I wasn't the last 2 lap finisher this time. :teeth:
