Wiring help on my 01 husaberg 650. what a mess!!

hello..

My bike is a husaberg 600 elduro 1996 mod, with 2001 husaberg 650 engine in.

The former owner did this engine swap, engine stator and "some" wiring. :eek:

on the cdi it stands: icu/DEE 56
855 191 01
25021702
and has a red white black green and orange wiring coming out of it. the white one is going in nothing.

going to attach some pictures if i understand this system. ;)

is it somebody out there who can see what im up to? :eek:

I would start with a wiring diagram for an 01. Do you have one? You can download them. Here on the site I believe also at husaberg.com
 
yes, i have for the 01 and the older one.

i have forgotten to write what i dont understand .

first the regulator and rectifier is from the older one, and they two are connected in some way from two yellow cables from the stator,the rectifier side have a green cable going in the front of the bike.

is this the line that has the power to the lights?

the starting switch on the diagram on both bikes is removed.
cant find any relay that shows in the diagram.

i got 6 cables from the cdi. one white is cutted.

i want to fit a battery again and get the start button up working.

one red cable go in to the fuse and one out again and is cutted.

can somebody tell simply where the cables from the stator should go, cables from the regulator and rectifier go, what to do to get the battery and e-start work.
and what is done with the cables that normally should go from key switch and relays?

to get it started all you need are the red, black and green from the staor directly to the coil. keep the orange away from anything it can earth on. start the bike and then use the orange on the engine to stall it.

after that look for the power source that takes red around the bike.

get really familiar with the wiring diagram. keep handling the wires and looking at the diagram.

can somebody tell what cdi im dealing with? All cdi units that i see in diagram has 7wires going out of it, and i got 6 wires going out of it. Wich colour is it on the cable from hi/lo switch that is connected to start button. ?
