Hi,
I have a Husaberg 501 from 1995. Its general condition is not perfect but it stopped working.
After a few years of having the motorcycle stopped the motorcycle in the garage I decided to start it.
I already have all the spare parts ordered. But I have a problem with the electrical installation and I do not find the wiring diagram.
This model has an electrical system different from the later model, so the wiring diagram find do not serve me.
Can somebody help me?

the first wiring diagram i have seen is for the 1998s.

if you need a wiring harness, we ahve them in stock. several years it seems from the mid nineties to around 2000.

Thank you,
The wiring is fine.
What I want to do is to modify the wiring in the connector.
And also know the function of two drivers that are loose. I imagine it's for the acoustic signal.

Hi

Here you have the 98 wiring, should be similar

OK,
The 1995 model 401 has no blinkers or battery. But I have been able to identify the generator, CDI and regulator colors.
I have had to follow all the cables of the installation, but I have already identified the function of each one.
Further. I'm going to set up horn. This model was commercialized in Spain without electrical horn. But there is a free cable in the generator that I take to connect it. The horn is now mandatory in the technical controls.
Thank you very much everyone for the information. When I have everything finished I will upload photographs.
If someone has a problem with the electrical installation of this model I can help.

Hi

Can't see any of the pict of your links, but anyway about your yellow wire:

This stator has 2 single phases, one in each yellow. In bikes with battery we use one to charge the battery and other to lights and all the stuff.

You can use the power from one of the yellows to the lights and the horn, but if you want to use the other yellow to the horn, it's fine.

Just remember that the power directly from the yellow it's not regulated or rectified, so you will get an unregulated AC power from there, don't know if that will make any difference, never had a horn :D
