Wiring Brake light for 2012 te250

Hey just bought a 2012 te 250. The bike has a taillight but no brake light hooked up. I was wondering if anybody knows if this bike is per wired to have a brake light? If so do you know if I can just buy a plug and play setup and where can I get this?

I would rather not use a generic hydraulic brake switch if I do not have to.

Sorry, indirect answer, but have you checked if there IS maybe a light but the fuse broken? (would post more info if i had it ... best of luck to ya)

I have a '12 TE250 and used the Enduro Engineering kit. It's plug and play, if you have the OEM taillight.

I was hoping that would work for my bike...Do you have to bleed the rear brake after the install or is that not necessary?

well I ordered the Enduro Engineering kit for my bike and it came in yesterday. It was a plug and play. No issues at all and works 100%. So if anyone else out there wants to hook up a brake light for their bike just order the Enduro Engineering brake light switch.

Most likely you will need the pressure switch and possibly new taillight

Not sure if the stock taillight is set up with a separate bulb that would operate from the switch call EE from the link above
