will newer rear fender fit on my '99 FE501?

i love the look of the newer rear fender/rear numberplate panels - has anyone tried to fit on an older 'berg? i don't mind fooling around with it a bit to get it to work, just want to know if it would be close enough.

anyone try it yet?

yes (lee fryberger) it fits, there are many fitted by members here at UHE. it's in the doc as well so do have a good rummage through it sometimeas it's a mine of information.

thanks, taffy. i may sound like an *****, but i searched the doc and couldn't find any info on the rear fender. could you point me in the right direction?

I looked for a while, and feel like a dummy, too. Go take a look in the Gallery at "Perry." He put a 2002 back and front fender on a 99.
