does anyone know if the charging system will tolerate the draw? If so, who makes a good one that will fit my bike?

Yes, but you need to run them off the AC side. There is only enough DC power to charge the battery on the split charging system that was on the 2004-2008 bikes. Get the power from the positive headlight wire.

Symtec makes the best add on grip warmers.

Do you know how many watts the ac system supplies? And also how watts the dc supplies?
