Will a 04 shifter fit an 03 FE400?

I bent my 03 shifter lever and since it is cast Al and has a crack at the bend, I don't want to unbend it.

I believe the 04's are machined and better, will they fit a 03?

yes it will fit.looks like a nice piece.i have one on order but have not recieved it yet ,i doubt anyone has.dan.

My dealer called BMG Husaberg , and they said the 04 shifter won't work with a 2003. They said the shaft offset was different. So brittle cast shifter I must use.....

we received a 2004 gear shift lever today.the spline and hole diameter appear to be the same as all the other bergs.i see no reason that it would not work an any year berg.dan.

Well my dealer sent me the 03 and it was CAD$89.00 plus tax :crazyeyes:

BMG likely want to rid them selves of their 03 parts
