hi husaberg-newbie

i've been told that the wossner pistons are a bit heavier then std ones.
the 450 piston should have a dome onto of the piston(higher compression)
the brand of the std piston in kelko or keiko or something like that
for the pistons of the 550/650 there's a weight difference of +- 100grams betweed std and the wossner(heaviest one).don't know how much weight diference there is for the 450's.

both pistons will work just fine.

the pistons are 'elko's. your right they are very light and are 'dished' on top. but its the 470 that gets the HC dome and not the 450.

oh and welcome to UHE my freind!

taffy,
are you welcoming husaberg-newbie or me (too) :D since i just got registered myself very recently.
i've been reading a ton about the main bearings since i've got the same issue.
my RH rollerbearing has gone.
so now i'm going with the setup from enginehardware : right roller- and left ball bearing.
will be put together upcoming week.
had the bad luck i only made about 6hrs (200km) on the bike (had 40hrs when i bought it) and had a bearing failure :(
had the crank lined up,it was a bit off.
keeping the CB.
hope all goes wel for about 80-100hrs...

ciao, hannes.

ps: i 'm sorta neighbour with belgiquebastard fro this forum. :) we live only 10km apart.
will meet up with him asap for a good ride 8)
