Why is husaberg so called?

I know the husaberg story from Wikipedia, but why is it called that?

"The name of the company is borrowed from the place of the first pre-production plant – an old cowshed, situated on the peninsula Husabergs Udde."

Read some where the original owner/builder went to race with the bike when asked what bike he riding had to give a name so he could race. In a pinch he came up with Husaberg.

It is true that the Italians took husqvarna away but from that gesture that I do not share husaberg was born which was better than husqvarna. The question about a pilgrimage is a joke, but not so much: I'm sorry for the husaberg affair that ended in 2014. Unfortunately the EFI engines shared too many components with ktm and this if on the one hand it was good, on the other hand it encouraged Ktm to cease husaberg motorcycles. In Italy, a group of entrepreneurs purchased husqvarna-cagiva projects from bmw and now sell husqvarna motorbikes from the 2010s under the name SWM. Maybe in Sweden a group of entrepreneurs will bought husaberg carburettor projects from ktm and produced Husaberg again but with injection system

Been there just get off the train and walk down endurovagen street. Better than husky.....need to go to that town husqvarna and cross the creek into the husky museum....Berg was a slimmed down husky.....very light but fragile in heat were those sems. While there check out the titanium frames and twin cylinder motors.....the husky tool kit fit the first bergs. The husky museum t shirt is very high quality whereas the Berg 95 world champ cap was made in China.....early bergs were pogo sticks...fell off and saw the linkage fall of spider web cracks......shock horror but only 106 kg who can complain.
