Who's Right About the FE350: Dirt Bike or Dirt Rider?

Regarding the 2013 FE350 vs the KTM counterpart...

Dirt Bike says that the motors are the same but the Berg has more "premium" components internally (they even had an illustration).

Dirt Rider says the motors are exactly the same, inside and out.

Anyone know for sure?

Don't know about that, but I notice that all the reviews I've seen say the fuel tanks on the 4 strokes are 9.5L (so presumably that's what they were told at the launch), but the Husaberg web site and the owner's manual (for the 450 at least) said it's 8.5L. The web site has since been changed to show 9.5L.

The tank does look to be a bit bigger than the KTM one which is supposed to be 8.5L so I guessed they'd copied the KTM data and initially forgot to update the tank size, but the only time so far I've run my 450 onto reserve I only did a couple of miles after the light came on before filling up and it took just over 7L, so either the 1.5L reserve mentioned in the owner's manual has grown to 2.5L, or it is an 8.5L tank after all.

You'd have thought the tank size was a simple enough thing to get right, so if that's in doubt I'm not sure how much chance you've got of getting a straight answer on the engine internals...
