Should the ring be with the chamfered side up or down? 650 02 model :)
Got confused when my old piston had it pointing down, and my new(used) have that side up...

Bevels, markings face up.

Make sure end gaps are staggered.

I have just started to assemble the engine when i came across this oil nozzle in the crank to the big end. I wonder why it don't have a bigger hole in it? If i understand this right, this is just "pressurized" by the oil bath in the left side? Or will it be a kind of vacum in the crankcase that will help throw oil in to the rod?

Appreciate all answers from a Berg newbie

Okay, kept it original :)

Another question! When i installed the main balancer shaft with all new skf 61905 bearing in the crankcase, i noticed that i could "wobble" the shaft around when holding the end.
The waterpump bearing will help a lot and make the shaft stable, but i think it could be a weak spot

Since it was my balancer shaft bearing that fu#ked up and spitted out the balls, and made me do this full rebuild, i'm considering upgrading that one. Anyone who has done a other type of bearing on the balancer shaft? Stronger, wider?
