Which Month the Berg was made?

Hello I have a 2011 Husaberg Fe570s, I need to find out what month my berg was made. All of my ID's are wiped off from the frame except for my VIN number. Is their a way to find out what month my berg was made using the VIN?

The reason I need to know, I need to find out if my fuel pump is the original crappy pump or the updated one. Post October 2011 are suppose to have the updated one so I read.

Any info would be appreciated:)

Thanks
-Jason

If it runs well it's probably either been replaced or is the newer version. You can pull the tank and open it up and look at the pump too - probably good to look at the in tank filter as well.

It can be considered cheap insurance to just have a known-good pump on hand maybe? esp. if you have friends / neighbors with. 70deg Bergs & share a parts locker.

I'd still like to how to de-code the vin. So if I want a 09-12 berg some day. I think 4 is not enough.........

Not possible to get month from VIN, The standard used only requires the year to be encoded. Unless you know someone at Husa or previously at Husa with the data base you cant and will not never know without the placard on the frame. The last eight numbers of your vin will identify this only with the manufactures data records.
