which handlebar (or riser)?

depends on many things

the maguras bend ok without breaking have a go at bending them yourself to different heights and see what you like.

higher the bars are the harder it is to tip the bike into turns but the less feedback you seem to get through the bars

Im same height as you 40mm wasn't too much with the stock suspension

now taffys gonna be mega stoked cause we got a gearing thread and a handlebar thread going at the same time :D

I looked around for a set of raisers but they were ridiculous in price & were almost the same price as a new set of bars. I went to a steel supplier & got a length of alloy & drew up some basic dimensions then took it to a machine shop. $5 for the material & $100 for the machining & got exactly what I wanted. I probably got ripped off with the machining cost but was still better than what was on offer off the shelf. When I flipped it doing a wheelie in top gear the risers survived...but the bars didn't.

No, those are beauties, you did not get ripped off (by him).
Half to the government half to the machinist, for $50 he did a very good job.

Nah Bushie, That bit of skin is called a 'Twasn't', cos if 'twasnt there all her guts would fall out through the great big hole.
