Where to Buy Clutch Master Cylinder Rebuild Kit for 2002 501

I'm looking for a rebuild kit for my clutch master cylinder, 2002 501E. I can't find parts for this bike anywhere. Everyone has parts from 2004 on but not before.

This seems like it should be an easy item to find, maybe there's a KTM part that will fit? If anyone has any ideas where to find this part, or if you know of a KTM equivalent, I would greatly appreciate your help.

I don't need the entire master cylinder but if I HAD to get the whole assembly I would. I just want to get it fixed before I sell the bike.

Thanks.

I have a similar situation. My master cylinder on my 2001 FE400E is leaking, so I need to buy a rebuild kit. I can't figure out which rebuild kit I need for this particular master cylinder. Did you have any luck finding which one you needed? I believe your model and mine use the same master.

It took me a while to find someone who had the part and at a reasonable rate. Some clown at a company called Off Road Boss wanted $225 for the rebuild kit. That's a freaking rip-off. They should be ashamed of themselves. Eventually, I found the master cylinder rebuild kit at a place called MotoXotica in Vacaville, CA. I purchased it and a new clutch lever for $92 (mine was broken at the tip). I don't remember how much of that was the rebuild kit but I think it was about $50.

So I made this purchase before completely disassembling the master cylinder. As I was taking it apart, I noticed the spring inside was jammed and that's what was causing it to malfunction. I decided to put the new kit on and bag up the old parts. The parts look like there's nothing wrong with them, the spring just got stuck. My guess is that they're 100% functional. They aren't doing me any good so if you want them, I can ship them to you--maybe it'll get you out of your bind.

Indeed, my suggestion is to first disassemble and inspect. Magura clutch's are finicky but tough. Kinda rare that a cylinder actually needs a rebuild. Possibly a jammed spring like FS stated above or maybe just some grit that needs cleaning. As for the rebuild kit, be careful installing it. Damn clip and spring just want to fly accross the room and disappear on you. Spendy thing to go missing and have to be replaced (cant get the individual parts).
