Helo, i have a FE 501 supermoto from 2013

What are the service intervalls on the piston? How many hours can it run before i have to change? I dont use the bike for competitions and i only ride street

Thanks

It can do 400-500 hours. When they've had enough, they become a smoke machine. I'm talking completely smoking out the garage in 10-seconds just like you're on a film set.

But it won't let you down, it'll just; "SMOKE".

Thanks for the answer

Ive gotten a lot of different answers, you are the first one to mention that amount of hours (400-500). Others have said 150. What makes the bike so durable?

I agree with Taffy as I have a 2013 501 with well over 400hrs and it has just recently started to smoke a fair bit. It still runs flawlessly and doesn't even seem to be down on power. Did a 950 mile adventure ride and it was burning an alarming amount of oil though, 3/4 of a quart in about 400 miles. Never even had to adjust the valve either.
