I just wanted to let folks know of the hassle I've had with my wheels.
I used these guys;
MJB Racing
73 Station Street
Cheslyn Hay
Walsall

They did my wheel anodising OK, but I was not entierely happy as it was uneven.
They also stripped the carbon steel spoke nipple's protective coating in the process. They advised using lacquer to re-protect them, so I did my best to coat them after collecting the wheels the first time. Within a few weeks, however, they were rusted up nicely.
I then searched high & low for an aluminum or stainless set (as you may remember).
Eventually I got a black oxide plated carbon steel set from Husaberg, and made another 180 mile round trip to drop off the wheels.
Was charged a further £60 for the privilege of swapping them back out.
Again, another 180 mile round trip to pick them up one evening this week.
Just re-fitted the wheels & notice that BOTH tires are on back to front!
So now they have to come off again, take them down to a local tire fitter, and get them re-done, bring them back & re-fit them!!!!!
I only hope the tire fitting guys are going to be careful if I stand over them & not damage the rims while removing/re-fitting the tires, if this happens I'll give up completely.
Just not good enough!
