What your valve springs are doing while you ride

pretty amazing when you think that its doing that 58 times a second @ 7000rpm, i wonder what the velocity of the valve is? also the side to side movement of the valve was very interesting.
i know have my new double spring set up installed to my 550, its definately quiter running and tick over is rock steady, i'ts never run so sweet. doing an enduro this weekend so that will be the first test of the new set up.
Jockular.

i'm being cautious at the moment peter but i'll PM you. Taff technology takes longer!

i tremble every time im on the startline, tickover to max rpm then flogged to within an inch of its life for 7 oval laps, not good for any engine, simon, ill not sleep before next race date and will be now in tears on the startline thinking of your video :supersad:

wehay, bike held together four the four our enduro at the weekend, ran flawlessly, i would have to say that the double spring set up is a success, it has so much tork its un real, only berg there out of 1oo or so bikes.

wot! no troubles at all?

and here i am today with yet another snapped exhaust valve in a 470 bestrewn across my bench!

i'll have to start marketing these soon. i need a report back which i'll chase from a road (SM) rider and if all is ok - we're off!

anyway, glad to hear it jockular.

regards

Taffy
