What should I do to my Te 300 -13?

I have found an TE300 -13 that hasn’t been rode since 2013. The owner bought it in 2013 and rode 22 hours and it has been in his garage since then. I will buy it since it’s a good price and it looks almost as new.

It’s all original and now I’m wondering what mods you would recommend me to do... Is it anything I should do on the bike right away? Any other info about the bike and how it is would be really nice.

Thanks, Adrian

Clean out the fuel tank and the carb. Check all the normal stuff as chain and tires, bearings ect. Change the gearbox oil to nice clean stuff as it has been five years sitting. Air filter and intake for any rodent life or nests. New spark plug and go for a quick easy ride to ensure everything is in good working order :) Have fun because you have one of the best enduro bikes ever :)

probably best to search around KTM talk? you essentially have a KTM there so go look at their web site.

I know that the jetting was shyte so there are jetting mods for it.

I have the 2012 te300 and love it!! Its my first bike but im experienced with 2 stroke engines. As others have said getting the jetting right is a bit tricky but makes a hell of a difference.. other than that I have fitted a G2 throttle tamer and lowered it 30mm.
