What rear tire for FS570 on stock rim?

Currently running Pilot Powers and the rear is starting to show signs of squaring off down the middle and am wondering what is a good replacement? i would love to use another michelin but it seems all the newer tires only come in a 150/70/17 rear and not the 150/60/17 that is fitted as standard.

Does anyone have a pic of a 150/70/17 fitted? I mainly use this bike for commuting with a little bit of spirited riding so i want a tire with grip but not prone to squaring off the rear within a few thousand K's..

Cheers.

a few thousand k's is good mileage for a rear tyre on a powerfull supermoto.
It hink the pilot power is one of the best tyres you can choose for the 570 if you want a tyre that performs wet/dry and gets reasonable mileage you can try a more touring/sport tyre for more mileage but I would not like to have less grip than on the pilot power...
My bike has just over 11 000 km and I have been through 2 pilot powers 150 1 pirelli supercosa 150 and almost through a maxxis stretlegal pre cut slick (did 4 trackdays in this time) 2 with the pirelli and 2 with maxxis
So average 3000km/tyre.
I love the pilot power on the front for road use not on the track though....
It eats tyres/chains but its one hell of a fun bike the 570:)

For street Super Moto Bridgestone 003R's they stick like glue and very predictable and I get about 800 mile's a set and come in a 150/60. I have aftermarket wheels on both my Berg's with 5.5 rears they rub slightly if you run a NON O/X ring RK chain which are around 18mm wide vs about 24mm for a O/X chain and I've tried all the high end tires and the 003's last almost as long and stick better with the Q3 being the closest but I have never got over 1200 miles out of a set of tires those being Pilot power's so if you ride hard in the mountains a good set of tires wont last long but for commuting PP will do fine other wise you give up to much grip. and FWIW I run 24/24 F/R pressure.

Thanks for the replies guys, i think i"m going to stay with the PP's and go for a little higher tire pressure..my Berg/KTM dealer mechanics told me that 24psi is too low for commuting and will lead to the tyres squaring off faster. They suggested 32 F/R which i have been running and the bike still seems to grip fine when i"m giving it some power thru and out of corners. I don't do any mountain riding at all anymore..way too dangerous dodging cars/other riders..take it to the track for the fast stuff i say!, This bike hasnt and probably wont see any track use, i just use it to get to work and for some occasional street hooliganism. :)
