What map setting does my FE570 have?

So I understand you can buy a handlebar mounted switch that lets you toggle between SOFT-MID-HARD ignition maps. Is there a way to change these withou the fancy switch?

And how do I determine what setting my bike is in now, how did it come from the factory?

I really don't need to toggle between settings and would liek to leave it in the highest power mode I can have.

You are on mid. Search this forum and you will find info. All you need is one or two cheap resistors. Im on my phone so cant help you now.

If you only want the aggressive setting you can install a resistor of 6.8 K ohm, 1/4 watt, 5% (Blue, Grey, Red, Gold) where the map switch plug should be installed.

So essentially I'm putting each end of the resistor on each one of the plug receiver blades?
