Depends on whether you want to gin around making wheels off another bike fit.
If you do you have to decide whether you still want to go for lace-ups or cast wheels.
If you are happy with cast wheels you have to decide whether you are happy with spiral spokes going the "wrong" way or want straight spokes. Pretty much all road bikes have the chain on the left. You gotta flip the wheels over to run your chain on the right.
My FZX front is a 17x2.75" and is off a '98 model. I have a spare up in the roof I paid AU$200 for then did not use but it probably is not worth shipping it. Most would want to find something wider anyway.
If you want a RGV rear you have to find a later 17x4.5" one - ie about 1993 to 1995. The earlier ones were 18x4". I'm fairly sure the 1996 "Grey" bike had 17" front & back with straight spokes. These'd be good if you could get some. Vegard had a 'berg with an RGV 17x3" front fitted.
If you want straight spokes on cast wheels I'd recommend Suzuki SV650 (I think) wheels off about 2001 model. They are 17x3.5" front & 17x4.5" rear. Use a 320mm front rotor off a Hayubusa. We fit a set of them to a mate's KTM & I reckon they'd go on the 'berg like a finga in a bum with no mods to the wheels themselves!
We fit another mate's GasGas with 17x3" fron & 17x4.5" rear wheels off a GSF600 Bandit from late last century. The hubs measure up almost the same as the SV650's but with the rear disc face needing 10mm machined off the wheel itself. The spokes are spiral, but on the GasGas they go the right way.
