The berg has been sitting in the shed for a few months but when I started it the headlights would dim when I revved the engine - seems like a short ? Anyway so I decided to replace the damaged light switch with an aftermarket I had and it is not a simple thing. Not sure if I all is right with it.
Now the Bike won't start and there seems to be no spark. The stator has the following readings: Green and Black - 166.9 (normal 165 - so within tolerance) and Red and Black is 6.54k ohms (while normal is suppose to be 3k ohms from my research) When I kick it overI get a Voltage of about 34V on the Red and Black. Is there a problem here ?
I tested the CDI and it seems to have no voltage.
On a side issue the plug seemed to be loose in the Cap. Should it have the extra screw on knob ? When I put one on the SPark Plug it was too big to fit in the cap tightly but without it it is too small.
Thanks - hope you can help.
