What exhaust system for a FS650?

HI,

Getting the frame replaced this week so i need to spend some more money!

I would like an aftermarket exhaust system with removable baffles as i will be using the bike on the track and the road. I have seen some where the endcan comes apart and you can adjust with different baffles, just not for this bike

Anybody got any ideas?

have a look at the akrapovic system , but make sure you are sitting down when he tells you the price 8O

The slip-on Akro exhaust can is priced within reason. This is what I'm running on my bike. Maybe a gain of 2HP, great sound and not overly loud.

The full Akro Ti system sure is perty but also very pricey. Not sure if this system is really worth it unless you gotta have the full monty.

The stock pipe seems small. Does anyone have measurements of an Akra for the 'Berg 650? I know the Akra pipe for the KTM SMC is much bigger all the way from the header to the muffler inlet (it has several tapers...) than the stock FS650 exhaust...

I HAVE THE FULL TI AKRAPOVIC ON MY 06 FE650, IT HAS A REMOVEABLE INSERT ON THE TIP , I JUST ORDERED MY 06 FS650E FROM MOTOXOTICA TODAY , AND WILL PUT ON BLACK RIM'S AND I ALSO ORDERED THE AKRAPOVIC FULL TI FOR MY NEW FS 650 !

the exhaust doma has a very good report/ratio price quality in France full with world in A on husaberg

i've just tried to fit an as new doma to my 400 and it would have none of it. it doesn't like the small valve head or something. might have to sell the doma at this rate...

What sort of Horse Power gains are you talking with a full Akropovic exhaust say on a 05 650FE?

Around 4 hp depending upon circumstances.

go for a full akrapovik sistem,it does have an insert to make it quiet. it is pricey but is the best a man can get

I really like the skid plate and sire wings for case / water pump and hose protection... verry nice!

I would like to know more about the glide plate and water pump covers - where did you get those, they look like nice pieces of work.
