G'day all, I was out bush doing a few fire trails and all of a sudden sounded like it has rocks inside the motor, though it still runs as normal no smoke coming out of the exhaust. What do you think it is?? just to see what im up for???

I have had 2 failures sound that maybe be close:
1) single row bearing counter balance.
2) cam chain.

I had something similar happen on my 05 650 a few years back. A bang and rattle in the motor like rocks being thrown around in there.
It still ran and I rode it back to the truck as easy as I could.
Turned out 3rd gear had busted and took a few more gears out with it. Had a total of 6 gears replaced.
3 had a tooth or so missing and a few more were compromised.

sounds like it could be a main bearing failure sometimes on the balancer side they break and get crunched into the rollers. ive repaired lots with this problem.

the of the 2005 models had a problem from the factory with not enough enfloat on the crank, if it has never been checked and is tight it breaks the main bearing on the balancer and crunches it as i said on your other post.
Where do you live as im the Husaberg fixit and rebuild person in Australia.
