WHAT´S WRONG WITH MY SUSPENSION? (´09FE450)

Hi fellows:

I am having a little problem with my suspension since I did my first fork mainteinance in my 2009 FE450.

I want to first put you in context:
1.- I did a complet fork mainteinance in the husaberg dealer. They put a 7.5w oil and didn´t want to change it to 5w so I took the bike somewhere else. And there is were the problems started....
2.- Somewhere else changed the oil to a 5w (maxima). The guy didn´t have the service manual so he had to find out the right amount of oil over the internet. After my first ride, the suspension was not working good (not enough travel in the forks and unstable).
3.- I took it again to somewhere else, and he checked the air chamber lenght and one fork showd 109mm and the other showe 120mm. The guy supposedly fix the problem and left the air chamber in 128 each fork. The next ride showed again fork problems: bouncing arond, unstable riding, unable to direct it where I want to, didn´t change much with each different setting (according to manual), felt soft, plushy, rigid in the hard hits.
THE STRANGE THING IS THAT WHEN I SEE HOW THE ENTIRE BIKE COMPRESSES DOWN PUSHING WITH MY HANDS IN THE MIDDLE OF IT (CENTER OF GRAVITY) AS I ALWAYS CHECK MY BIKES TO SEE IF THE FORKS SETTING ARE BALANCED WITH THE SHOCK SETTINGS (PUSHING NEAR THE END OF THE SEAT, NEAR THE TANK CAP) THE BIKE BEHAVES REALLY STRANGE. THE FORKS DON´T COMPRESS AT ALL, THE SHOCK DOES COMPRESS, BUT YOU SEE A VERY BIG STATIC SAG IN THE FORKS AS I´VE NEVER SEEN.

Should someone explain me what is wrong with my suspension? To much oil (maybe measuring air lenght incorrectly), to little oil?

How much oil should my suspension has to have???

Also I will like to know if it is better to play around changing the fork preload, or just leave in cero turns, one turn or any number of turns and prefferible play more with the cliks?

Thanks for helping me.

Sebastian

hard to say

if you're going to get someone else to work on your suspension Stay with one guy till your happy or you get your money back before going elsewhere.

FWIW all the info you need to do this yourself is in the DOC
