Hello. I have bought a digital thermometer to my bike. to measure watertemp. were is the correct place to place the sensor (threaded one)? The waterflow is going out trou the head me think? and somewhere there I think it should be. before the cooler. Or what do you think?

Best Regards Patrik

I put mine rt side of the cyl head @ the plug for coolant & fit perfect .I think this plug is used to bleed the air from the top of the engine to prevent hot spots

Seems to me you would want to be measuring the water where it's coming out of the head and on it's way to the top of the radiator. I found a few places that sell in line adapters. OF NOTE: One of those site specifically mentions to make sure the temperature probe does not touch the opposite side of the adapter, some thing to keep in mind.

I used an in line temp adapter on my shifter kart with a dampened auto meter gauge and it worked perfectly.

Best of luck
