i always think i should do this more often.

anyway i'm getting some external coolant leakage between the head and cylinder...just a slight dribble on the right side toward the front. i'm going to check the head bolts but it seems like an unusual condition. There couldn't be much pressure there?

Once the head gasket starts leaking its only a matter of time. It will blow at the most inopportune moment and quite possibly fill your crankcase with water. I would replace the gasket as soon as possible. If if does blow on you drain the coolant and cranckcase right away and flush with fresh oil.

it doesn't appear to be leaking from or into the combustion chamber...just from the cooling jacket.
