waterpump seal (husaberg fe 400 2000)

hello! First oil change after rebuild revealed a little grey oil. My guess It's the waterpump seal. Because it deformed a little bit while i installed it. It was a really tight fit and the metal seal was a little bent. I'm wondering if its possible to use ktm water pump seal. Dimension of my seal was 10x17.8x4.
This is the old one with waterpump in head.

This ktm seal says 10x18

any thoughts if it fits? or any other place to buy seals from. Taffmeister will be very expensive with shipping and everything, and I did not like those seals. However if thats the only way to go. Any assembling tips?

I have tried the KTM65 seal and it is like an ordinary rubber oil seal - just rubber! there is no grip in the cover.

I suspect that you tried to tap the seal in with a socket or something?
ALWAYS use the vice or a press otherwise they fold like a conch.

post is only expensive if you use ebay or our shop. the computer says "always expensive". the pretty little lady in the shop says 'cheap'. LOL!!!

Talk about customer service, Different pricing for different sites. Sounds like a big scam to me. I bet this shop sells Magic Beans as well lmao. I would be very hesitant to use a shop that doesn't have it together with their shipping dept as well marks up shipping??? Con artists I tell ya

first of all you have no point to make here at all, I mean none. your IQ must be somewhere between 1-10.

as for not starting something, you have been going out of your way to make comments about my business for several months now but you reckon you've done nothing to stir this up? you even went on a thread where people discussed my business just to explain you'd done no business with me but well -you wouldn't? what crap is that? if that isn't sticking your nose in - nothing is.
