Waterproofing the FE570

Planning a trip with a lot of deepish water crossings and wanted to know how the Berg is for waterproofing in std trim and what if any changes/mods are recommended

It appears that if it gets anywhere near the seat deep it's going to take a lot of work to get it dried out but more interested in breathers and drains etc?

Thanks

The best thing you can do is fit an airbox from a FE 390, it has a trumpet that will not allow water trapped in the bottom of the air box to enter the throttle body, I found out the hard and painful way. Other than that I used to really enjoy the submarine action. Idle along with the water lapping the bottom point of the seat. I soft sealed the non sealed connectors and plugged the spark plug drain hole and that was it.
