Water crossings

I have a new to me FE550 (2005). Given the positioning of the battery and its relay for the starter with fuses, is there any concern if this gets completely submerged in water crossings? Are there any modifications I should make to it?

had my '03 and '06 submerged upto the bottom of the seat a few times and never noticed any issues with the battery or relay

After having been out for several trail rides after the wettest April ever in this area.....I'm glad to report.... no problems with water crossings!

My riding mates are surprise with how deep this bike can go with the air filter location.
