Hi guys
it was fun and for the first time it didn't rain I actually got sun tan 8)
my race went really well got a 2nd place start ( maybe that would defunk
the myth of under powered Husaberg 450
) and I did not lose any
pos. going up horsepower hill during the 1st lap I passed the leader only
to be repassed, got into the woods above the MX track the leader passed
a slower rider and I got stuck behind the slower rider 1/4 lap later I passed slower rider and had leader insight, back in the woods above the
MX track this guy on a KTM passed me and moments later he tried to pass a slower rider in steep down hill the two guys connected handle bars
both of them went end over end, the guy who passed me ended up under his bike got all the riders stopped behind me and with some help the rider
crawled away from his bike and the single track got cleared and that
racing incident made me lose contact with the leader put my head down to
catch leader but it was too much time to make up, on lap 3 I got a little
impatient was behind a slower rider in an area with ruts and round rocks
the slower rider moved over and I tried to switch ruts those slippery
rocks made my front wheel tuck and crash lost 2nd pos. got started and
charge passed the 2nd pos. rider finnish the race and got 2nd place
I had great time racing Washougal is fun place to ride,watching the pros really put dent in my ego they are flying
conclusion is that I have 2 handicaps, I am old and slow
