Yeah, I know I'm looking for a unicorn... but if anyone can part with a subframe tank for my FE570 I'll pay top dollar, especially for a new generation one.
That one you have on your bike you are selling or have no need for, I'll put it to good use and will give you a like new OEM subframe if you want it!
Please.

The guy i bought my bike from had one. I didn't take it cuz he wanted 400$ cdn for it. If you're still looking for that i'll try to find his number.

$500 AU
Was in pretty good condition, none of the inserts spun.
Bloke was a mechanic for husaberg team on Australian safari.

I previously had a safari front tank that I got second hand for 550 posted, never fitted it and sold it. Was considering selling the berg next year to get a ktm that was easier to fit a bigger tank to, but now I'll hold onto the 390 longer. See if I can get 200km out of this set up.

Hello,

I bought the tank on the web but no responses from the seller (I gave 650).

I suppose he prefered Sico. Well done.

So I'm still looking for or any solution to increase fuel capacity up to 15l.
(I find Safari tank is too big.)

I drove to his doorstep to pick it up..lol
Never thought I'd see the day that one was for sale, let alone under an hour drive from home.
I'd be trying to make the stock subframe a tank if I was you.
I rode with a bloke on a fe450 couple years back that had the stock sub frame plumbed and no issues.

Hey keep an eye out for one that seems out of place. My bike was stolen at the beginning of the year. And it had one.

Still really pissed about it. It was a total lose because of the cops. Insurance wouldn't cover it.

We did find the bike and went to the cops to handle the situation so I didnt have to murder the prick. Cops went to the house asked them if they had it "Shocker they said no" Than left called us said they couldn't visually see the bike "Was in Shed" So there was nothing they could do. We go back there and the bike is already gone.

Just talking about this makes me angry. Whats worse I called other counties asking them about these jerks and everyone of them knew exactly who they were. They have known about them for a long time but refuse to do anything.

So please keep an eye out one that seems misplaced.

Wish you very long rides with this extra fuel.

I'm afraid about a homemade rear tank based on the oem subframe. Because of fuel leakage just above the pipe...

I'm working on a skid plate with fuel tank instead of the water. Actually 4.5 litter. I hope 5.5 when finished. Bu I must put a pump. My idea is to take the same pump as the one used on the normal tank. So, it will be a spare pump available if problems.

If somebody could help for the choice of the pump, I would appreciate.

Just a manual pump.

After 100km, I will start the transfert into main tank using the event tube.

Not sure that will work. but I don't want to do one openning in the tank.

Other ideas?

U mean the vacuum hose?
That shouldnt work. Try getting another cap and make a secondary hole for air.
Or it will only compress air and gasoline. Probably even wear out that pump.
