Hi
I Recently bought a '95 FC600 which after a bit of tinkering I have managed to get running..
The bike has been fitted by a previous owner with a basic electrical system, headlight, stop/tail light and horn with a battery under the seat, so it can be MOT'd, I live in the UK.
What I need to know is what voltage is the bike, I assume it has an alternator, putting out 140w, the only specs I can find are the ones in the manual from the Husaberg site, but that is for the FE501 and it doesn't say whether it's 6 or 12 volts.
I took the headlight bulb out and it's 6v though the battery is 12v..so it's all a bit confusing.
I would like to fit an LED headlight bulb so it uses less power but until I can find out what the correct system voltage is I'm stumped
Cheers

Hi,

The system is 12v, 12v regulated and rectified DC for charging the battery , and 12v regulated AC for lighting.

Regards

Sparks.
