VIN/Frame number

Just a curious question.
Can owners of new and old Husaberg's confirm that the bikes does NOT have the VIN number stamped on the frame?

Mine is a 2006 FE450 and the VIN is just the sticker on the steering head.
If this is true to all Berg's i could basicly have three bikes with the same sticker/VIN number, sounds kinda weird to me?
 
Hi, I just joined you and am very happy to be here, I used to follow your forum but really want to communicate. The VIN is always present on the right side of the frame, you can't see it unless it has been repainted or powder coated, or you stole what you are riding on and tried to hide the number!!)))
 
2010 FEs have the sticker by the radiator cap with the VIN, and the frame is also stamped with the VIN by the forks.
