as seen in the doc, i do love my pro grip 719s! but i'm getting a numb hand quite a lot and i want to cure it. firstly, the throttle tube is now the oldest part of the bike, secondly has someone tried the 719s and STILL found they prefer a 'better' grip?

i ought to mention that i removed the engine counter balancer and i intend to put it back in ASAP!

regards

Taffy

I personally like the Progrip "*****" grips you know the ones that just feel right in your hand soft but firm underneath.
I used to have the numb hand problem and later found it was carpal tunnel. You can get it from a lot of things but lots of riding can do it also. The doctor who fixed me said almost everything I have done in my life contributed to it. 4 years after the fix and my hands dont hurt, burn or go numb but I have trouble using a screwdriver or sissiors. The repeated twisting and closing of my hands something just stops working. It dont hurt but my hand just stops doing what I want it to.
I used to get arm pump to but it must have been connected to the carpal tunnel cause its gone now.
PS
Dont be like me and have them both done at once. I thought I would save down time but for about 3 days certin types of Hygine suffered

FMF 909 Ergo gel in the soft compound have been a 90% cure for me.They feel weird and squishy when you first put you hands on them but I don't notice it while riding.I've used Pro grips before and they weren't bad but I found they were harder and shorter both.

Hey Taff, I have not used the FMF grips, but I do like the renthal half waffle soft compound grips, also, have you tried the stock Honda grip? they may not be as spendy as one might think, and they have a very good rubber compound.

These are the ones I use,

Progrip714's, in black of course...

Very comfortable.

I am currently using the factory 909 dual compound
gel grips and they are the cats jammies . Between My
boys and I ,we have tried every grip we could persuade
someone to give us and thats quite a few . However I
will actually buy these grips . they are a little thicker than
some , ( but I haven't measured them ) so my hands do
not cramp up as they do with a thin style grip .

Cheers,
