Vapor in hose Temp sensor best location?

Looking to find best location for temp sensor (in hose type) for my fs650. I was thinking the short hose coming off cylinder to top of radiator. Any one put one on there bike before? Will post pic's of alloy dash set up with Vapor on it soon.

Yes that's a good place for one if you're looking to know hot the water is coming off the motor.

If you search this forum I believe that was a good discussion of the different types of thermal wells that were available for inline application.

The Vapor is a pretty cool instrument....... I think it even has an accessory to measure cylinder head temps at the spark plug base.

Correct about the head temp but must be a extra you only get the inline coolant temp guage. Have finished today putting it on will post some pics tommorrow.
