Valve train noisy on 05 FE650

I have 2 2005 FE650s. One has 160hrs, cam chain replaced at 117hrs.
The other one has 70hrs.
Both run great and the valves are in spec at 1/6 turn out.
I have noticed lately that the valve train and tappets are more noisy on the 160hr bike.
Is there a wear item I should be looking into with this bike? Like cam followers.
Or am I good and that its just got more time and wear?
Changed the oil today. Very little shows on the drain magnet.

yep! sounds like a CFB is going! other than that there is no natural reason for the tappets to go noisy.

of course Husabergs do wear their rocker shafts which you can turn over.

In the meantime I will be riding the low hr bike

CFB Cam follower bearing(s)
Might want to check the torque on the countershaft nut. The 05 650's had issues with that.

I found out what it was. The intake tappet adjuster screws had become pancaked some and therefore
produced a loose valve adjustment.
I thought it was going to be a bigger problem because I had heard noise increase an adjusted the valves but
then the sound came back soon.
So had it checked out and the intake adjuster screws were flattened some from wear and we went ahead and adjusted them again for now even though they are becoming a little flush with the tappet nut.
So I have ridden it and it's fine for now but I will have the screws replaced within the next 10 hours probably.
