Valve Spring Compressor

Gents, for those who do their own head work, what Valve Spring Compressor do you use?

I have equipment for automobile engine use but it won't fit the Husaberg head.

I found that there is barely enough room for the cheapo $19 Craftsman to fit.

Good observation Ozrider! Yes, when my wife and kids go to sleep is when I do stuff like that - at least it's all degreased, and no chips in the travertine! [-X A small sheet of cardboard is a must...

here you go. even cheaper and less complicated: just pick out the size of steel tubing/pipe that fits your spring retainer. weld a half section to a c-clamp and you're good to go.
