Does anyone have or know where i can buy a feeler gauge to check the valves on my 650, i recall there was post here awhile back about a feller gauge z shaped or something to that effect.
 
if you use the tool pictured, you'll be bending it to get it to work. kinda defeats its purpose. what ever happened to just using the 1/6 turn technic?
 
Thanks Ned, just not sure about the 1/6th turn method. Is there a link or vid i can see how its done?

same technic as using a feeler gage: with nut backed off, just run adjuster in til it lightly touches, then back it out 1/6 of a turn (one flat of the nut or 3/4 of a 1/4 turn) and tighten the nut. make sure the screw doesn't turn while tightening the nut.
 
for a feeler guage that works goto http://www.ballards.cc and they have them in the catalogue i use one from there and works excellent
